These guidelines are for any group with participants under 18 years old.

  • Minor: Anyone under 18.

  • Chaperone: A responsible adult (21+) who looks after minors.

  • Group: Families, youth groups, camps, schools, or any organized gathering.

Chaperone Guidelines

  • Age: Chaperones must be 21 or older.

  • Ratios: Ages 12 & under: 1 chaperone for every 5 kids & ages 13–17: 1 chaperone for every 8 teens

  • Supervision: Chaperones stay with minors from check-in to departure, keeping an eye on transportation, the river, and entry/exit points.

  • Waivers: Please make sure all minors have signed waivers and understand the rules.

  • Emergency Contact: Provide a reliable contact number at check-in.

River Safety & Conduct

  • Life Vests: Required for all minors on the river.

  • Safe Floating: Please avoid standing on tubes, capsizing, swimming in restricted areas, or disturbing wildlife.

  • No Alcohol/Substances: Not allowed for minors. Any violations could end the float early.

  • Leave No Trace: Dispose of trash properly to help keep the river beautiful.

Check-In & Check-Out

  • Bring a valid ID and confirm the number of minors at check-in.

  • Provide a group list and check that everyone is accounted for before and after tubing.

If Rules Aren’t Followed

Safety always comes first. In rare cases, violations may result in ending the float early without a refund. We may also refuse service or contact authorities if safety is at risk.
