Floating the river is a beautiful and fun adventure, but it also comes with some physical aspects to be aware of:
Length of the Float — The Snoqualmie is not known for it’s short float. During July and August, the float can be upwards of 4 to 5 hours. Please understand that there are no early exits and you are on the river for the duration once you enter the river.
Walk at the Exit – Getting out of the river requires a walk that can feel longer than expected after time on the water. The path has initially has a steep hill, uneven ground and no handrails. We cannot modify this trail because it belongs to King County Parks.
Getting In and Out Along the Way – Depending on water levels, you may need to step out of your tube on rocky or sometimes slippery riverbanks. Conditions can change, and some areas may feel more physically demanding.
