Floating brings people to Fall City, and we want that to be a positive experience for visitors, residents, local businesses, and the river itself.

We hire local team members, work with nearby partners, and stay in regular communication with landowners, residents, and public agencies. When concerns come up, whether it is traffic, signage, trash, river behavior, or private property, we work to respond quickly and responsibly.

Keeping the River Clean

Every rental includes a mesh cleanup bag so guests can easily pack out trash during their float. Our team also checks the launch and exit areas each day, removing litter, collecting forgotten gear, and resetting signs.

Small actions make a big difference, especially on busy summer days.

Sustainability in Practice

We make operational choices with the river in mind, from reusable gear and cleanup bags to daily site checks and guest education. We encourage every floater to follow leave-no-trace principles, avoid single-use waste, and treat the river like a place worth coming back to.

Stewardship on the Water

Our River Patrol team floats the river daily to assist guests, monitor conditions, and encourage safer, more respectful use of the river. They help identify problem areas, report hazards, and support guests when they need help on the water.

Their presence helps create a safer, cleaner, and more mindful experience for everyone sharing the river.

Respecting the Shoreline

Much of the land along the river is private property. We use signs, guest education, and staff reminders to help floaters understand where to launch, where to exit, and why stopping on private banks is not okay.

Our goal is simple: help people enjoy the Snoqualmie River while protecting the places and people around it.
