Safety, Preservation & Sustainability

This is a natural river, not a lazy river or theme park. Be alert, prepared, and respectful of the environment and nearby residents.

Life-Jackets All renters are required to wear a life-vest during your float (one is included in your rental, or you may use your own).

Hidden Obstacles — Do not jump or dive into the river. The river contains logs and rocks that may be hidden from your view. Always watch downstream for signs and objects that may cross the river current.

General Tubing Safety — Do not tie yourself to your tube or cooler. Disconnect all tubes through rough water. Always be prepared for your tube to capsize.

Trash & Sanitation
Use designated trash and recycling bins at launch and exit points. We provide mesh bags at check-in — please return them after your float.

Parking
Park only in designated areas. Do not block driveways or emergency access. Cars in no-parking zones may be towed.

Respect Others
This is a family-friendly experience. Loud, aggressive, or disrespectful behavior — including foul language — is not tolerated. Please be kind, courteous, and mindful of others on and off the river.

What Not to Bring

No glass — use aluminum or plastic containers only.

No styrofoam — bring a soft or hard-sided cooler.

No oversized rafts — up to two-person tubes or inflatable boats allowed. No Party Islands or oversize rafts allowed.

Alcohol — Public intoxication is not tolerated. Visibly intoxicated guests will not be allowed to float or board the shuttle. Be smart, be safe — float responsibly.

If Rules Aren’t Followed

Safety always comes first. In rare cases, violations may result in ending the float early without a refund. We may also refuse service or contact authorities if safety is at risk.

Floating the river is a beautiful and fun adventure, but it also comes with some physical aspects to be aware of:

  • Length of the Float — The Snoqualmie is not known for it’s short float. During July and August, the float can be upwards of 4 to 5 hours. Please understand that there are no early exits and you are on the river for the duration once you enter the river.

  • Walk at the Exit – Getting out of the river requires a walk that can feel longer than expected after time on the water. The path has initially has a steep hill, uneven ground and no handrails. We cannot modify this trail because it belongs to King County Parks.

  • Getting In and Out Along the Way – Depending on water levels, you may need to step out of your tube on rocky or sometimes slippery riverbanks. Conditions can change, and some areas may feel more physically demanding.
